This series explores the theme of fragile ecological systems in the context of the climate emergency.  I have drawn inspiration from interconnected layers of ecosystems, and how changes in any one layer ripple throughout subsequent ones.

The works suggest both calmness and turbulence through pulsating reflective and matte surfaces.  The soft colour palette and choice of materials signify tranquility. However, all is not what it seems. Menacing undertones allude to change and the threat of unknown consequences.
